I visited Chicago recently for my birthday. I flew into O'hare and the hotel shuttle picked me up once I called for them. The only trouble was trying to find where the pick up area was located. Once I got to the hotel, I was greeted by two nice young men working the front desk. They started to sing Happy Birthday to me when I told them I was there to celebrate my birthday. They actually did that a few times whenever I saw them. I stayed in a queen suite and it was very nice. The carpet was old and needed to be replaced but other than that, it was great. My bed was super soft, I wished that i could take it home with me. There is a shopping plaza with a Target and several resturants about a 20 min walk down the street. There is also a McDonald's across the street from the hotel. I would definately stay there again. Order room service, the breakfast skillet is well worth the money.

I visit Chicago at least 6 times a year and I always choose this hotel. There was only one time I chose to stay at another nearby hotel and altough it was nice, it never met my expectations like the Holiday Inn has. The staff is extreamly helpful and accomodating. The onsite resturant/lounge is wonderful pricey, but good. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Out of the many times I've stayed at this hotel, I've never had a complaint. The best thing of all is the price per night is fair and there are NO PARKING FEES!

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights at this Holiday Inn Select and plan on coming back next year!The front desk was so helpful and spent extra time printing out directions for the place we needed to get to in downtown Chicago. The shuttle got us back and forth to O'Hare and the Blue Line station with no problems--it ran every half hour and the drivers were friendly, helpful, and courteous. We didn't eat in the restaurant--a little pricey for what we wanted. It would have been nice to have complimentary continental breakfast but there were items available for purchase for quick A.M. eating. The room was wonderful! No complaints at all and as I stated, we plan on returning next spring.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Select and was very pleased with the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable - I stayed for 5 nights and had no problems with internet or any appliance. Has mini-fridge and microwave. Staff helpful and friendly. Harry Carey's restaurant and bar is VERY nice, however drinks are pricey and the bar closes early. However, there is a small local bar just .5 miles away that is open late and has great fool - Ambosias. Would stay here again in the future.

Stayed here - loved it! Very nice staff & great room - king bed and large flat screen TV. Ate at Harry Caray's on site . . . food was fantastic but pricey. Would recommend for convenience to and from OHare on their courtesy shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes.
